Enlightened Kids of the Future, Inc. (EKOF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and teens develop spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually. EKOF's mission is to assist children and teens in achieving a better understanding of themselves, the world around them, and the Universal laws. In our organization, we believe that spirituality plays a crucial role in a child's nurturing and development. Spirituality can help children develop an awareness of their inner selves and connect with the world around them. It can also aid children in discovering their life purpose and the meaning of their lives. Our primary focus is on children and youth aged 6 to 21 who are at-risk, vulnerable, and underserved. This includes children and youths in foster homes, kids' hospitals, and after-school facilities, primarily for those who have experienced bullying, but we are happy to extend our education to anyone interested in after-school facilities.
EKOF provides an educational program, daily practices, and tools to help children and teens develop their spirituality. The program is structured to span 28-30 days (about 4 and a half weeks) in a row, led by a certified program coordinator at each facility or location. We are also willing to certify and train volunteers as program coordinators for our program in other facilities around Florida. The educational program introduces and educates young residents about the seven (7) spiritual laws (our program is based on Deepak Chopra's book). Each day of the week is devoted to a single universal law. We spend 3-4+ hours a day, personally meeting with them once in the morning for 2-3 hours, and once in the evening (during or after dinner time) for 1 hour via Zoom for discussions. These discussions during or after dinner time are designed to establish and cultivate a deeper understanding of the day's session subject.
This program is designed to help children and teens connect with their inner selves (spirit within us), develop a deeper understanding of themselves, discover their life purpose, learn how to set and achieve goals, and program their minds for success. The program includes activities such as learning about the background of each law, emotional education, yoga, meditation, gratitude writing, and development games. EKOF is also working on a YouTube channel with educational resources for children and teens. These resources include meditations and learning videos designed to help children and teens learn about spirituality and develop a better understanding of themselves and the world around them.
One of the key goals of EKOF is to help children and teens develop a sense of being NEEDED in their community, embracing their uniqueness and contributions. Community is an important aspect of our lives because it helps us feel connected to others and the world around us.
